About me

Kishore

gkicha[at]gmail.com

San Antonio.

Techie.
And, Biz/Tech Editor at Desicritics.

A day is like a whole life. You start out doing one thing, but end up doing something else, plan to run an errand, but never get there… And at the end of your life, your whole existence has that same haphazard quality, too. Your whole life has the same shape as a single day.

Infrequently Asked Questions

Are you real or imaginary?
I am complex.

So, who are you?
I am what I am and that’s what I am.

And what you do for a living?
I breathe in oxygen from the atmosphere, eat three times a day, and junk food at other times, read like I was stoned by pot, write as if a serial killer was on my prowl, sleep when I don’t feel like doing anything else or if it’s past midnight (whichever occurs first), and play who’s-the-bigger-hooter with the owl next door.

Why do you write?
Because my written words will never scold me, will never disagree with me, will never talkback, will always say what I want it to say and will never leave my side.

How often do you write?
When I’m not writing software, I write here. Sometimes I mix the two. Sometimes I don’t. I write software for bread. I write here for jam (I don’t like butter). And then I mix the two and eat. I eat, therefore I am.

Can’t you ever give me a straight answer?
You’ve come to the wrong place, mate. (Wasn’t that a straight answer?)

Now, to read and leave your footprints in the sands of time so you shall go down in History (and Geography) as the one who left his footprints behind, and 65 million years later, a nice archaeologist will extract your DNA and resurrect you.

  1. Hey,
    thanks for the ‘site visit’!!
Regarding, Sillunu oru kaadhal, I love the song, New York Nagaram – also like Kummi Adi, which is out and out Tamil folksy. Mumbe vaa is alrighty too. But New York Nagaram rocks! It is so sublime, I love it! My song of the moment.
